Could Aspartame be killing us?

Although research has proven that the increases in diseases such as MS, Lupus, Autism, Allergies, and Fibromyalgia in children and adults has been linked to an increase in exposure to toxins and to nutritional deficiencies due to poor absorption, again linked to an increase in cell toxins. See the following for details:

None have been linked directly to Aspartame. I do agree that aspartame has been said to be a dangerous toxin and causes many symptoms in people,

Fox News Channel 5 even did a 10min segment on the dangers of Aspartame

There's even an email being sent warning people on the dangers of Aspartame. It's written by a lady who's on a personal mission against Aspartame, no one knows if what happened to her sister is a true story.

Please take the information with a grain of salt (even mine!), do your own research and find your own truths about artificial sweeteners.

Naturally of course, our bodies are still running off the same model it was 10,000 years ago, so I doubt it would know what to do with aspartame. It's always best to keep things as natural as possible. What's wrong with drinking water, coffee w/cream/honey, rooibos tea, yerba maté, Acai, and natural fruit juices? They're filled with enzymes and trace amounts of minerals like potassium, iron, and magnesium.

Plus we can always go back to using honey, apple sauce, and blackstrap molasses to sweeten our foods....like we did 1,000's of years ago. One tbsp of molasses has more iron than a steak! Honey never goes bad (they found some in King Tut's tomb and it was still eatable!)

I personally stopped using artificial sweeteners and my blood sugar levels are fine and I haven't gained any weight from switching to honey and molasses.
